Sorry Horse....with or without corners, the 308 doesn't stand a chance [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N948DJwup5E[/ame]
You gotta be kidding. They carry plenty of corner speed....but if you go just a little bit faster than they are capable, all hell breaks loose. However, we did a standing start slalom once and Scott was a bit faster in his GTB, not that it's relevant to what we're discussing.
Very unbalanced car with very low cornering limits. Lucky it has a powerful engine. A 340 HP 308 would be a much, much faster car.
Considering the 200kg weight advantage, I would most certainly hope so. BTW, if you think the BB had low cornering limits, then either it wasn't properly set up or the driver was shyte
How bad is Alf??? You spin out and STILL stay ahead of him !! No wonder Carl beat him ............. or do you guys pay him to make you lot feel good ????
Actually there's more to the story. The guy filming told me that the owner of the black car was outraged that what Viola said was "the fastest boxer in the world" was overtaken by me in mine, so he sent Alf out with orders to overtake me. Passing me when I spun would have achieved nothing. I lost confidence after it though, and made Alf's job pretty easy.
Still don't know what you're getting at. I was going too fast for the corner... What happened is pretty normal when you do that, don't you think?
