A lot of lifts are 3 phase but the smaller ones probably only need triple As Mine is a 3 phase but AFTER I got the 3 phase put in (at great expense thanks very much Energex!!) I found out it could be converted to single phase Oh well, the A/C needed 3 phase
+348 A few Ferrari Chat members in the US have these in their garages. They love them, the perfect garage hoist........if you don't have the height. Yep, my Molnar came 3 phase but I fit a 240v electric motor to it. 15 amp power point to run it.
Lunch time today at Robertson parked at the pie shop, 458, Huracan and an ALFA 4C , I got a wave as I went past, any one on here?
Would the screw holes in the concrete be sleeved? If not, if you kept taking it in and out you would quickly ruin the holes.
I wired my garage up for 3 phase power so I will be interested to hear what your feedback is after you get a low roof hoist installed. Did your engineer design your garage floor for a hoist being fitted one day ?
I had the max jax system in mind because I couldn't get the ceiling height for a 2 poster. The slab is slightly thicker than what the max jax needs ( about 100mm from memory)
You can always get a steel plate made to use as a base, which will spread the load. That is the workaround recommended by other hoist manufacturers, should the concrete strength be marginal or of some concern.
