Maybe one day hell will freeze over and our politicians will surrender the $5Bn a year they make from Luxury Car Tax and import duty, meanwhile your US$290K car becomes A$540K driven out of the docks here. On the topic of who cares, if 246's were only ever made in LHD, it wouldn't matter to values, e.g. F40's. But due to the existence of factory RHD 246's, they will always command a premium.
