Can anyone recommend F1 fluid mine needs top up for tomorrow’s trip cheers Adrian Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Have you done it before? I don't think it's that simple and if you stuff it up, pretty sure you'll need an SD2 to correct. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi sorry guys thanks for the effort I appreciate it but I was after a recommended f1 fluid to top up F1 reservoir and have since found out it’s Shell Spirex S4 ATF HdX which I can only find at elders farm shops in 20 l drums [emoji849]there’s one in Windsor BUT AGAIN thanks Adrian Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
F1 pump is a $600 part. Overfilling will not damage it, the excess oil just leaks onto your garage floor. Ask me how I know In a 575 access to the reservoir is easy and it's obvious what level you fill it to. I overfilled because I didn't run the pump long enough before checking the level. You do need an SD2 to change the fluid though and the consensus seems to be that this should be done every 4 years.
Thanks again Greg for the great diagrams thankfully Imonly topping up but finding the s4 stuff is hard they use it in hi pressure farm machinery and thanks for the tip on the 4 year change IanI will look through my books as for the older Hos Simon I’m hearing you [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
They don't have it at Repco ?? I get my Bobcat stuff from them. They normally stock everything ...If you use your NRMA card you get more discount than the trade gets....Go figure....
Really! Repco you say [emoji237][emoji237]I’ll have a look cheers G ,The NRMA it’s first class [emoji851] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I don’t think changing the F1 oil is in the service schedule and if it is, I’m sure most service centres would probably turn a blind eye especially if they don’t have access to a SD2. I couldn’t find any evidence in the service records that it was done in the past when I bought my 575. I had FMS service it soon after and asked for ALL fluids to be changed. Their idea of “ALL” was engine oil, brake fluid and checking and topping up the others, so back it went again, so frustrating......
Yep right well I think next service will be brake fluid f1 fluid engine/gearbox oil and coolant this 575 at Duttons looks nice it seems reasonably priced ,I would like one some day [emoji237][emoji237] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com View attachment 2511329 mobile app
