Yes I have a 570GT but not a good car to drive in the summer or hot days. It very very noisy fan wise

Some of us have been doing the Gumball for 8 years....

 

OMG.

 

I would have loved to but I am back off to HKG on Friday.....I will be on leave most of next month so maybe we can do something then........

 

Ok Adrian it will work on your car......This is what you do....
1. Turn your Battery Isolater switch off for 30 minutes.
2.Turn Isolater back on with no electrical loads ( radio, lights etc all off ).
3. Start your car and let it idle for 5 minutes ( no reving ).
4.Then engage 1st gear with foot on the brake and hold for 5 minutes.
5.Turn car off. ( This is a full clutch reset )
6 Having a beer during the process......optional.....

It's usually to do with capacitive retention but what would I know, I've just got a dumb 355 with no driver aids

 

I’m all ears mate It’s the same system I believe I’ll take all the 4wheeled wisdom you have to offer let’s not forget at 7 months ownership I’m still fresh out of the egg [emoji12]

Mate, lots of extra little computers to control the engine/drivetrain/brakes/etc which the 355 doesn't have

Basically with the 355 they gave you 400hp (well mine does ) 6 speed manual (for those that want fast gear changes), stiff suspension (challenges ) and huge brakes (ABS can be turned off) ............ point you at the road or track and said it's all up to you how you get around

 

That's the official Gumball, ours is NFP

And the official Gumball accident was a couple of Japanese dentists killing a couple of race officials at a checkpoint because they were weekend warriors playing Michael Schumacher

Just got an email saying that the Tailem Bend track has been confirmed for the FCA event in October.
Do try not to lose your licence before then...

 

yes, as I recall they were killed by the video camera mounted between the seats - massive head injuries to driver and passenger.
