Yeah, yeah, I get all that. And my statement was factual and fairly banal (I mean, most of the meat heads that repost and comment on these things didn't finish high school, let alone know anything about Newton's laws). I was OK with not putting the boot in to the bloke (if it was one of you bastards of course, I'd be in like Flynn).
Woah hold on guys - 1. lots of people making uninformed comments is unhelpful to anyone. 2.don't start maligning a hardworking club volunteer who is trying to keep a cool head and protect our club and members from outside vitriol. The request was made privately to members and had no need to be mentioned here.
Oh FFS, since when was that part of a "President" job? Protect members from vitriol? LOL. Protected species are we? The incident is simply ephemera, it happened, big deal. No one gives a crap if you own a Ferrari
This 488 GTB is one of the Ferrari's subjected to the Takata Airbag recall on the passeger side, picture clearly shows the passenger airbag deployed, hope the passenger is OK. Basically every Ferrari sold between 2013 and early 2018 needs to have the passenger airbag replaced, you can check the status here: http://www.ferrariausnzrecall.com/ Amazing that the problem with Takata airbags have been known for at least 3 years yet Ferrari was still selling cars with them at the beginning of 2018. https://www.9news.com.au/2018/10/29/06/15/takata-airbag-recall-whistleblowers-knew-about-deadly-scandal-decades-ago
Well it did due to the fact that Gino asked for the conversion/speculation NOT be continued, hence me posting that very request.
Well, I hear the witness estimates are between 160kmh and 200kmh in a 60 zone - stupid behavior if correct and very lucky no one was killed.
