Maybe should be in the other thread, but I spotted a Silver Murcie in the valet parking section of the Sheraton hotel last evening on my way down Adelaide Tce (in Perth)
silver? that must be a new one, never seen it. are you sure it wasnt the light blue one with license plates "go dad go" ?
yeah they quoted me on the 348, but couldnt on the 355, as it was after 5:00 pm and the underwriters had gone home, I got a call back today, however i was a little shocked, the F355 was over double the price of the 348 to insure which seemed a little odd to me seeing the amounts i listed for insurance were $110k and $165k respectively for 348 & 355. are 355's that much more risky for them to insure? (and this is a rhetorical question, i know they obviously are) perhaps ill pick one up from the US in 4 weeks (sorry im just excited about my trip and had to throw that in)
Here's another one showing not a lot of room for overtaking especially in the wet during this particular Targa. Image Unavailable, Please Login
good one Steve, I can see I'm gonna freak when i do it hard to believe the Porkers are being overtaken in this event by anything, let alone a big BMer !!! I spotted a few Ferraris today when getting the QV regassed, a 456 silver and a Daytona getting a new exhaust system fitted next door to the aircon joint, turned out to be one of the boys from the club who had just returned from the OHOS rally where it was just one of 11 Daytonas ..... would sort of make them look "common" when you get THAT many together
You'll be right in your element when you do it, you'l love it! Especially blowing off Porkers! Hey, you know that restaurant we went to, when I got back here, my wife showed me a review that was done on it in the Weekend Australian. I think you and I should take up being food /wine buffs
Saw a grey F430 F1 Spider last night coming in syd, coming from sylvania. Almost blew my load when seeing it at a set of traffic lights opposite me, then when I caught it I think I did hehe.. Looked so nice it's my first F430 that I have seen in person and I must say it did look much nice in the flesh. I cruised next to him for a while admiring it. The exhaust sounded beautiful although the guy wasn't giving it I think i'm in love.
YOu should of said hi, rev it or something, usually they more than happy to haha. Always works for me
it seems like 90% of F430's are hairdressers spec? does no one appreciate a nice coupe? I cant stand hairdressers spec cars, only if i had 5 or 10 cars would i then choose to have one.
All the F430's that have been delivered in Perth are Spiders unfortunately, the only Coupe we got was that original demo car but I'm not sure whats happened to that.
