There was mate. The PIS wasn’t set correctly. I’ve sorted all that out when I had the actuator rebuilt. It’s excellent now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s not as smooth, but that’s because it’s quicker. You could still be right, but I’ve spent some time setting it up - doesn’t mean I’ve got it right though? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I drove them both when new.... Now that I think about it, I have no way of knowing they were set up right from the factory. It is Ferrari after all. But the 430 was a perfect as single clutch could get and the 355 was like my old smart car
Yes. But I’m spending the night in Ipswich at friends place. I’ll meet you at the designated spot. (Harry’s Homo Haven). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got the new battery in the Ferrari and went for a drive this morning. The old battery crapped out back in January, nearly got 5 years out of it which is very good going. The new red top battery fits like a glove. Used the factory battery clamp also which was awesome. And the new battery is rated at 800CCA. The old battery was only 500CCA. The engine turns over like a demon now, it's awesome. But I will never leave the car sit for that long ever again............ After the new battery was fitted, it took forever to start. Wound over forever and ever and ever. When it looked like starting, it would back fire that loud, I am sure the back fires were heard over in Perth. After what seemed like a minute or more of just cranking the engine on and off, around 5 massive back fires, the engine started and idled perfectly lol The brake accumulator light was on forever also. The park brake light was stuck on, came off after I worked the handle up and down around 3 or 4 times. The exhaust smelt like **** also, obviously 9+ month stale old fuel. Fuel evaporates over time also, the fuel light was on when the car started lol. I took the car for a drive to the servo and put in $50 of Shell V-Power which got me around 15 litres of fuel lol. I did a quick 20km drive this morning. I will wash the car this afternoon, check the tyre pressures and take the kids to school in it tomorrow morning. I might even drive it work this week on night shifts. I was once told Shell was the worst fuel to leave in a car not driven often and BP the best. Not sure if true, but only run Horse on BP and have never had a problem.
Indeed! BP Ultimate is the best fuel by far. But...............we don't have that here unfortunately, so Shell V-Power it is.
Well done Pap, it’s to nice to be left in the shed, new daily driver Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
