Did I tell you of the story(true),when I went to do my daily banking about 25 years ago?
The ANZ here had a female teller who I knew was a bit of a motorhead.
We also have the local Tablelander newspaper that has classies,in it was an advert for an unbuggered SLR 5000 for sale in Innisfail.
It must have been the day after publication when I went in and as we did started going off about cars,she indicated to me she was going on about spending about $5K on bombing up a wannabe Holden of some sort that she owned.
I told her about the genuine SLR 100 KLM's away.
She went down and turned up here with a fantastic opaline blue standard 5000 for .............................$5000! The price it was advertised for.
