    Overheard someone describing its history.
    Apparently there are a few stories about how it came into existence but it has plenty of photos and records associated with it racing and doing the Pebble Beach circuit back in the 70s.

    A large chunk of the stories described by Barchetta and Christies is what I heard being discussed today

    The chap I overheard was not describing it as anything more than a replica that was built up from a mix of parts from other cars and an aluminium body shell made in the USA

    Not a car that I’d seen before and not something that I’d consider purchasing if Greg lent me the money

    The guy that now owns it bought it because the price paid was about the same as the value of the drivetrain, and one couldn't build a replica these days for anywhere close to that, so he considered it was a bargain. He's a BTC with many other cars, this is a bit of fun. He's under no illusion as to what it is and isn't and has tracked down the original 330 body in the USA, which he intends to keep with the car.

    A major beat up IMHO. Real "barn finds" are unmolested, original cars.

    This car has been horribly modified and many unobtainable parts are missing. If you knew 330's you'd know that the restoration cost will exceed it's value, even if got it for nothing.
