In an almost unheard of event, I just spent a couple of hours cleaning and conditioning the leather in the 355.

I never normally take much notice, but I have to say the leather is in remarkably good condition for a car about to have its 24th birthday.

There's barely a mark anywhere (amazing considering the colour) and all the stitching etc. is perfect.

(standing by for red carpet comments)

I'm also really glad I wasn't a tight-arse and got the sticky buttons done properly... :p

Red carpets. Horrible usually, but not bad with that colour leather.

    You're still a tight arse.

No they're not normal. They were the only part of the car that was less than perfect when I first bought it.
So at the same time as I changed the steering wheel to a 360 wheel I had those installed.
Bought them from somewhere in the States IIRC.

Just what I already had in the cupboard: Bowden's Leather Love and Leather Guard.
Seems to do a decent job.

The six speed shifter is attached to the steering column, like in a proper F1 car. :)

100%, and anyone whom hasn’t seen the quality of that work and compared it with what is done locally should just STFU

    That looks amazing Steve.
I actually quite like the red carpet in beige and tan interiors, I only find it weird with black leather!!

Cheers, Kim. Yes it would definitely look weird with black leather.

Despite all the crap that red carpet gets on here, every non-Ferrari person whom sees the interior always comments on how good it looks.
It's "different" for sure, but not in a bad way, IMO.
