my 2300 was 2 doors up and the best looking car there ... the "best" car award went to an XJ13 replica, wasn't overly impressed but then Jags are not my thang, I don't like being behind a towtruck all day

 

Saw a red 430 on Queen St right near the big round-about at Queen Vic Market.

I didn't like it when I saw pics, I liked it more when I saw it at the motor show, I freaking love it now seeing it on the road.

 

must have been the same one i spotted at the opposite end of queen st while i was looking at the inside of a 355ch!

 

That's a bit harsh JM! I actually got to sit in the real XJ13 when it was in Adelaide for the GP one year - that is one stunning looking machine - quite possibly the best looking car ever built...

 

today i saw a dark blue 355 spider. sadly it was being driven by a dude who wasn't as good looking as the car and he was smoking. very offputting. anyway....rego was VGV or something.....and......

it looks bloody stunning!! i've decided i like the 355 spider more than a 360 spider now.

 

what made you change your mind.......the guy smoking or the colour

 

Andrew, I saw the real thing in the UK many years ago and really liked it but this one looked to have some proportions wrong or the red paint made it look funny, either way the cockpit A and B sills looked wrong.

it was DESPITE the guy smoking!

the colour and shape was unreal.

 

I am always kind of put of by spyders/verts that don't hide the roof well.

I'd prefer it hiding under a panel (which I realise may add some more weight), rather than being covered by a bit of canvas.

But at least the 355 is a lot cleaner looking that an old rensc with it's roof down (think 930)

 

You just cant seperate these two love-birds can you!!

I've seen cars with tachos etc mounted at the rear edge of the bonnet, but that's the first one I've seen with PP's head mounted there

 

I'd imagine, PP gets his head wherever he can......

I saw a silver Gay aaaaah DOH this morning and a Orange Mercy lard OH this evening. Both were stunning. The G was pure class, the M was all BALLS.

 

Yesterday i saw a 996 GT3 cutting a very fast weave in and out of traffic, made a great sound.

I also saw an M3 CSL in the Hurstville CBD with 3 or 4 parking tickets wedged under the windshield. It was parked in a no standing zone at the time

 

Saw a Yellow Lambo Diablo Roadster on 'The Grande' Pde, BLS tonite.

 

Saw [MHH] on Grenfell St this morning 8am. The G looks impressive on the street amongst the buses etc.
