WTF are you going on about? this is your response to this. "I'd be as happy as a clam NOT to do it and be waited on hand and foot drinkin' pi ss...not a problem if other folk want to do it." "You wish." Your turn to explain to the great unwashed here .
just on 15,000kms in 13 months , I'll do the tyres in the next month before the 1st service and fit Michelins. How many ks are you getting out of a set of pads?
I got mine second hand with 30,000kms. I change brake pads about 45,000 I think. tyres same I think similar. Now seems to need a new front tyres at 59,000
I'm hard on brake wear , so will be of interest to see what the wear is like when serviced at the end of the month ,I'd like to think the pads will be ok as many of the miles have been country and the 10,000km trip will be less so on brakes .
Imagine how much money you could save if you bothe bought a pair of manual 996’s Mmm!, food for thought( no one really needs all that boot space on a road trip[emoji33]
Yep true, mind you if you don’t mind an auto cabriolet there’s plenty of choice for $60k, or you have a Maserati for similar money, I can’t think of much else unless you start looking at Mercedes or Beemers perhaps [emoji849]
