Great nite went to Brighton Le Sands, for Coffee. Went for a walk and what do I see sitting on the side of the road. A Brand New Red Ferrari F430 coupe with tan(that lightish version) interior it was manual as well and the Rego sticker had it dated 2nd August 2007, soo he only picked it up last week!!! Walking down the road 2mins later, I hear him take off and give it alittle Then 20mins later I saw a Lambo G (more details other thread).
Tonight on Kings Way, idiot in a gunmetal 360/430 decided that he didn't want to turn anymore, so he reversed onto the main road into traffic (me) making me almost go off road. Yellow 430spider parked on McKinnon Rd.
At lots of track days you can get a little, well blase, about seeing rows of Ferraris.. But when you see one in real traffic you get reminder of how stunningly exotic and otherwordly they really are in comparison with anything else.. Yesterday I was being parent driving large busload of girl guides home from overnight zoo stop and stuck in heavy Sat morning traffic on Military Rd Mosman and red 360 was alongside us before doing the wise move and ducking off side road.. Even my wife, who is definitely NOT into these things, commented on sight of the engine bay as we could see right in from bus height.. Then at turn off onto bridge was another 360, black this time. Not my fave colour but still a 2nd exotic in as many kms.. Then on the bridge itself had doubletake as red F40 on trailer glides past.. towed by an equally red hot ute.. the girls couldn't believe it when I used the announcing system and told them how much the thing was worth going past us.. Then near airport a red 328 GTS going the other way.. Sadly impossible to take pics, even with camera next to me, responsible driver for group of other parents kids and all that.. But all my favourites (well strictly speaking like 430 now instead of 360) on the real road in one morning session a.
Red 365 GTC4 with trade plates on the freeway this morning. When it was gunned in the tunnel, it didn't sound as special as I thought it might though......
spotted 131 Ferrari's today,obviously i just came back from the concoursbut i spotted a black 512tr in the carpark at darling harbour
that's the one i was talking about on the previous page. had the X in the tunnel this morning.... oh dear lordy, sounds better than any pre-355 ferrari i've heard....
I spotted more!!! Because we ended up going late, soo we saw them inside and we hung around when they all left Only the dudes in the 355's gave it any Also saw afew that werent in the show @ Norton St hehehe. Pics to follow.

No point starting a thread for this, but here are a few pics from the trackday recently for Barbagallo customers. A few cars I hadn't seen before turned up, like the first F430 Coupe in Perth and the lovely yellow Gallardo. Ray Hunter took me around the track in an Alfa Romeo 156 - very impressive for a FWD 2litre.....though the driver sure helped. Many thanks as usual to Pete for taking me along. man, i can't believe how bland the regular Gallardo looks after the SE...... that car won't be topped for some time i suspect.
The SE wont be topped for a while? I love mhh's SE also, but how about Nev's LP640? That looks menacing......
Murci looks great in a roadster (only seen pics ) whereas G is too girly without it's top on, but the coupe doesn't eclipse the G in my opinion. just a personal thing i guess, the G is more of a wedge which is what i love, plus it sounds better. the Murci sounds like a demon storm welling behind you (which is great!), i just prefer the sophisticated orchestra of the V10. think death metal vs rave.
I've seen the local one and it sure is a sexy car......as long as you keep that tarpaulin (or roof as some call it) off.
Well, you have seen more of them than me, so fair enough. I have only seen pics of all of them.... I bet they all sound awesome. Personal taste for sure. I love the SE, but also love the LP640. Both look awesome. Will eventually get to be a pax in them, one day. Right mhh........Nev......
That the yellow/orange one you posted pics of dingo? I think? It looks great in pics, in person would have to come close to give you a small chubby in the pants im sure.
