isn't who a father??? i've been called a mother...but never a father! by the way...i LOVE the way you weren't baited. hahahaha...you're a crack up
Mate...Phil's life revolves around me. He clearly wants to be my lover and is annoyed with me for not being gay. It was an hilarious response though, wasn't it? i'm still chuckling!
it wasn't hilarious. It was ill thought out and loose lipped. Phil, get a handle on it. Clients, no matter how honest with themselves, do not want to read on an international forum that they are crap drivers just to help you try to win an argument with an obvious stirrer. As an F car mechanic/tuner you need to learn more about politics than honesty. To be honest, myself, as a driver with a large ego and degree belief in my self ability, I don't know if I'd want you telling everyone on f-chat that I'm faster than allan on super soft slicks ('cause I'm too slow to get normal slicks working) and that I go all right considering... [whatever] food for thought perhaps
okay, i'll post a couple snaps of cars from the past as i don't have any 'spots' from recent times (that i wasn't a part of ) an NSX cruising around Light Square in the city, and a 355 Spider on Anzac Highway. cmon, let's have pics of hot cars out and about in the urban jungle. PP and 348... Ted has no problems with his driving that he can't live with or doesn't know about. Oh that's right PP, I took the bait didn't I... got all defensive about my work when you said a 360C was faster than a 360GT I prep. Well, you're right as usual, yes, Ted got beaten by a 360C, and a 1973 Porsche on occasion too, and you seem to be the only one concerned by that.
Hey Filly...guess what. I think Ted's doing a fantastic job. He appears to be a very nice bloke. I wasn't having a go at him at all. He's out there doing what I'd love to be doing (at least once) and he's seriously great. The only person who brought Ted into it, was YOU. I've said it before...you're the puppet and I pull the strings
You just reminded me PP, you old hypocrite you... I (and others) remember what you said about Ted that track day at Winton some time back. He doesn't forget or forgive either... and he deals with highly toxic chemicals... handy on occasions I would think.
oh please...remind me what I said? That he should move over to let others pass like is carefully explained during the drivers' briefing? That he should keep his eyes on the mirrors so that he knows people are there? Gosh...i'm terrible! Should I remind you, mr finger pointer that, totally against the spirit of the fca track days AND against the rules, you said "it's up to the others to find a way past him if he's holding them up...he's paid him money and he can do what he wants" I Don't know what you told Ted I said...but that was it. Anything after that was your doing. It wasn't a race day, it was a club track day...you're MEANT to move over if you're slow, and, IIRC...it WAS his first track day in the 360CH...or close enough, and you...the BIG expert, should have given him better advice. God...you sure know how to look stupid!
yet again your selective memory fails you in your favour... yeah sorry 348, I try, but it just keeps coming. That's it for tonight though.
Yay. It's exactly what happened, and I have witnesses. Just because it's how YOU remember it, doesn't make it so. ahhhh...i get it now....THAT'S the problem! We've discussed it before....your opinion becomes your reality. You have to get over that. And yeah...nick off.
Ash, hope you've cleaned the windscreen since that 355 picture. Anyway in an attempt to get this back on topic (again), here are a few pics of Diablo 6.0 I spotted a few months ago.... The only time i felt like my car was insignificant was when i pulled up next to a silver one of those with a sports exhaust. Yummy
that's another story best left for the NT... yeah i remember those. just for the sake of populating this thread with useful stuff go ahead and upload all your legitimate "spot" photos (ie. not poses/showrooms/car shows/etc)
yeah i think i remember that from when i mentioned a black one in adelaide... it still seems surreal now a couple years later, i've seen some nice cars, but that thing just sitting at the lights had more presence than if Godzilla were in the city centre chewing pedaestrians! truly unbelievable.
I can imagine, for me its still the most impressive car I've seen on the road. Ok, I'll remind you once we are out there. Well i don't have many other 'legitimate' Ferrari/Lambo pics, but if Porkers (Turbo, GT3...), Mercs (SL65, SL55....), Bentley's (Conti GT, Flying Spur), Aston Martins or Maserati's count then I have a few.....
Ok, here it goes - we'll start with 'A' for Aston Martin then. A DB9 in Applecross, the owner was nice enough to open the bonnet and let me drool over it for awhile. Then its big brother the Vanquish at the Mends St/Mill Point Rd intersection, on the move just how you like them.
