Austin is known for the Blues, or it was...back when I moved there in 1976!!

Eve Monsees and Denny Freeman (of Paul Ray and the Cobras)...uphold the tradition!

Did anyone stay for Sir Elton?

I have looked all over for a review of his show......we headed back to town, to pack for the long drive home....

    Just WAIT until NEXT year!!!

I didn't stay for the concert. In fact, I left a little before the end of the race. I figured trying to get on a bus back to downtown was going to be frustrating at best so I left early. It was a shame, too, because my seat was directly in front of the podium. Next year I'm going to make sure to buy a parking pass in one of the paved lots. (I had a pass for parking lot N...)

IF you had made it into Lot N, all of the grass lots actually have stabilized driving lanes.
They really could have handled parking in there had they directed people to parallel park, without leaving the gravel.

It would have actually taken flexibilty, brain power, and active management......you know, boots on the ground.

I recall one Guest Services girl that liked to report for work in her Wellingtons, she would have made full rank, if she showed up that way this year!!!
