    any recommendations re hotels in the area? i've heard the domain shopping center area is nice, but not sure if it's convenient. your thoughts please.

    Nice hotels are downtown and NW area.....there's nothing on the East Side where the track is located.

    Bastrop USED to be there, not so much anymore.
