    Hi all, can anyone recommend a great mechanic or shop that can work on a 1972 Mercedes 250c in the Austin Area? Sorry its not a Ferrari, but my friend in has just bought one and im trying to help him out and you FChatters have been very helpful in the past.

    I would try calling Colvin Automotive and Moorespeed as a start

    Chuck the Mechanic. Chuck worked on a number of our Mercedes over the years including a couple of e55s (w210 and 211). Interesting guy. He's awesome and does great, honest work. Just don't expect an immaculate shop with an espresso bar and guys working on cars in lab coats...
