I hope it's rebuilt soon. What a loss.

That was one of the true Austin landmarks. I've sipped many a margarita while watching the sun set at that place. That sucks.

Especially being at the beginning of the summer, how long do you think it will be until it is rebuilt?

What a terrible loss for Austin. I hope they can rebuild it soon.

I never heard about it until now, what a shame. I haven't been down to Austin in years. I've had numerous invites but never took anyone up one their offer. After checking out the Oasis website, I can say I missed out on one of Austin’s finest places to visit.

The owner plans on opening back up the Starlight portion on Friday for drinks and light meals. I plan on going by for lunch to help support the 280 employees.
The owner said most of the building is OK, mostly water and smoke damage. Its the indoor/outdoor areas and most of the decks that were destroyed.
