At least it looks like they are trying to gain some local interest for the race. In Indy the locals could care less about F1 other than emptying the wallets of the visiting fans.

Kinda looks like a place you would see on the edge of the Nurburgring or the Mulsanne - in the 50's.

I particularly like the fact that it will be a "Twisty Track".

I know you are joking but I can guarantee you that you won't find a hotdog or veal at any BBQ joint in Texas. That ain't no BBQ!! :)

I'm sure that Bernie will be stopping in there for a sausage BBQ with the works and a cold PBR!

Not in Texas! I'm afraid you'd get shot if you did that. :)

BBQ Bologna, in Texas??? When F1 comes to Texas, the only thing associated with Bologna or Modena will be driven, not eaten.

Just don't mess with our guns or BBQ and you'll be just fine. :)

Actually, Austin is mostly filled with a bunch of greenie weenie liberals.

Seriously though, we have tons of homeless people here and people begging for money at almost every intersection. They moved them all downtown when they built the Salvation Army, the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless & Caritas of Austin all in a 1 block radius. I wonder if they are going to try to clean up the area before the race. There have been a couple of violent assaults lately when people refused to give any money.

I guess we move the race to Laredo.. LOL

Actually San Antonio - the folks that drive on the 410 are insane, and they ain't much better on the 1604, but they don't come close to the nuts on the 94 as you get into downtown Detroit. They think '94' is the speed limit.
