Australian Auction (works out to be about $US 120K)

Not a big deal price wise in Australia. I have sold a manual berlinetta for almost double that price recently. It was red on tan though and Australian delivered from new not and F1, import such as this example which is why it sold relatively cheaply in comparison.

The prices for LHD cars are a lot different.

 

and keep in mind that’s about $112k USD. Not cheap but not outrageously expensive either.

 

What doe sit cost to ship a 355 from the US to Australia?

 

Why doesn't this one sell? F1? Been on the market forever. At $60k you can put a lot into it to make anything wrong right.

Not much.... compared to import duties, taxes and conversion to RHD costs.

• customs duties, GST [Goods and Services Tax = 10%] and LCT [LCT = Luxury Car Tax = 33% of purchase price over tax threshold (A$65,000)]
• storage and delivery charges
• logistics service provider charges
• customs brokers' charges
• import processing charges
• steam cleaning for biosecurity
• wharf and transport charges
• costs to have your vehicle meet State or Territory registration and insurance requirements.
