    Sorry about missing this thread until now. Need to pay better attention.

    Vance & I got a lot of good photos from the V8Supercars weekend here, starting with a visit from a few of the drivers to Wild Bubba's. Fabian Coulthard, Scott Pye, Chaz Mostert, & Tont D'Alberto. Great bunch of guys. Couldn't have been more friendly.

    Thanks for the links! I went down to Bubbas, but was there a tad early, since the film crew pushed back a few hours due to rain forecasts. Still had some tasty kangaroo chili and a kangaroo burger!

    I'm still sorting thru my Saturday pics, but I'll post them asap.

    Summary of the weekend?

    - The V8s are fantastic, & every Aussie I met was wonderful
    - Can't wait to get down under
    - It was brutally hot for May
    - There was little to no shade
    - It was brutally hot for May
    - The attendance numbers COTA is claiming (68K weekend/30K+ Sunday) are a direct affront to the intelligence of anyone with eyes.
    - If it weren't for my big floppy beach hat, I wouldn't have made it thru the day on Saturday
    - It was brutally hot for May & there was little to no shade
