I can cope (with a little counselling), but thanks for your concern! Still need to work out the best way to clean, prepare and polish very swirly 80's black paint, but that's a whole other thread......
stig i have always used autoglym and thought all the others was over priced crap but when my car was in porsche strasse having a clutch last week when it was finished charlie that works there says it wants zymol on it i said rubbish i had t cut and polished it and he was talking crap any way he did a rear wing and a bit on the bonnet and **** me it made the rest of the car look rubbish so me and charlie ended up doing the whole car 4 hours later it was like a new car then simon 355 came to pick up his spyder and said that looks well told him what we had done and i am sure he bought some for the lembo dont know if he has done it yet but yes for once and only once i was wrong its zymol for me doesnt leave any swirls on the car
Sorry guys didnt make today :-( Stayed out far to late too much booze...whats a guy to do?? Wasnt a total waste as i was taken to brands for a few hrs to get completely soaked. Action was good tho..
Joe, Pity you missed it, there were no CSs in sight, although there was some pretty impressive machinery there. It stayed dry until about 1 pm and the return journey was extremely wet. I'm sure you would have risen to the challenge of the hillclimb! Ken
It was a pretty good turnout despite the weather conditions later on. The die-hards amongst us stayed until 3:45 !
Good effort , lads. Bored son and mistaken belief Chelsea game kicked of at 1.30 led to my early bath.Did Noony turn up?
Yes, saw the black 308 and Graham and Ric's 355s. I was wearing a white 911uk polo shirt. Took us a while to find the non Italian car park. My dad said he wants a 360 now but we know he can/will change his mind????? edit-what was the burgundy cab in the other carpark-a nart spider?
Good turn out considering the bad weather Does anyone know what happened to the chap with the broken linkage? I really did feel for him! Paul
Paul, I'm still smiling despite breaking down 10 yards form the entrance. Car is now with Terry Hoyle in Kent who along with Paul (I think) very kindly came and helped me on the day. Terry was the chap that brought that amazing 275 NART Spider in Rosso Rubino. It was all; a bit of a bummer as you can imagine but the good news its a £2.50 part to replace the bad news is because of thr location of the transmission tunnel on my GTE both front seats and thr crntre console have to come out. Ho hum. Anyways was good to meet you all, albeit briefly, car is already in the shop so next time you are all out to play I'll give it another go. By the way after you had all gone in there were 3 cars broken down on the approach road : My Ferrari 250 GTE Ferrari 330 GTC that was overheating Ferrari 330 GT2+2 spitting oil all over the shop. Thank god they don't make 'em like they used to. Regs, Darren.
