The Clackett meet, if there is one, will need to be brought forward to around an 8.15 meet for an 8.30 departure then.

    I'm cool with that

Hey guys, as an avid italian car fan i would love to come down to brooklands but as im at uni in scotland im a bit far away. Im sending my dad down on my behalf, so i was just wondering does anyone know how much it will cost to get in?

I saw on the website £7 but wasnt sure if this was just for the entrance to the museum.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks very much

That will be the basic entrance fee just to get into Brooklands. Don't think there's any extra for the museum

I don't think it's been mentioned yet so at the moment the Southern contingent amounts to precisely zero.

I tell you what, when we see you at Brooklands we'll let you know if we're going to Stanford Hall. :D

I'd be surprised if there aren't a few people there as I'm fairly sure a few went to it last year, though it was before my Ferrari ownership (the wilderness years)

Maybe you should start a thread to gauge interest?

They always put the entry fee up a little when there's an event on. It was £9 last time if I remember correctly. We all complained because there was a massive queue to get in - if they'd just charged a flat tenner we wouldn't have had to wait as long while everyone got their one pound change!

I'd love to come to Brooklands Gray but I have to ration where I go cos the old Testa costs a fortune in juice. I reckon it's at least 100 miles each way to Brooklands and I get about 70 miles for 30 quid  so you can see my dilemma, plus I'm skint.

Fair enough, these Ferraris do sup some juice. Costs me £20 just to back the car out the garage :(

Driving a big 12 you must get invites to the Shell Christmas Party

how many times you need to be told you don't have to be amenber of the FOC to attend these events as one is put on by auto italia and the other is put on the alfa club, and by the way tommo got it wrong cotswold is going to Bristol shame that both events clash, and stop having a downer on the FOC it is what you make of it your self.I been a menber since 1982 best club I have ever had the pleasure to be a member of.Far better than the porsche, aston, jag, bmw put together. So why don't some thing on your own up there.

goldenwheels is right about the FOC. I've only been a member a few months but they are the nicest bunch you could care to meet. On my first visit I asked the which to buy Mondial/GT4 question, got good advice, offers to be taken out in either and one guy offered to look at cars with me, which he did!(thanks Paul). Us Ferrari owners are "the good guys" whichever medium or format we choose to make contact or interact. Just enjoy...

I'll be in Scotland! matkat / Dave, if you read this, is there another Alfa owners day at Craigtoun this year? I seem to recall it was about this time last year.

Any chance that people (for those newbies such as myself who haven't been to a meet before so won't know what cars go with which person) say what model they are bringing just to give a feel for turnout?

    I'll kick it off,
