Is anyone going from here? Also does anyone know where you park if you aren't with a club?
I'll likely be there but not in an Italian. All cars, Italian or not are parked in grounds. Non Italian cars park immediately inside the entrance gates, Italian cars are grouped together by marque. Ferrari & Maserati generally have the area to the right (as you drive in) backing on to the river. Paul
Ok, I was just wondering as on the plan for this year and last year it says "Ferrari Club" and seeing as we aren't in the club we didn't want to get there and just get put in the public car park!
I have gone for a number of years. I always park in the public car parks. It can be a great event. Though this Auto Italia will run in concurrent with the Spa francorchamps Italian super car show.
The FIA GT Championship is on at Silverstone too, there are quite a few of us making the trip down there for the weekend. It's a pity as Stanford Hall is a lovely venue.
No no, it is true the Ferrari Owners Club have a marquee there, but regardless you are a Member of the Club or not, all Ferraris are parked together. I'm sure there will be someone from the Owners' Club encouraging you to join nonetheless. It is always a decent enough show and the Maserati Club have a fine array of cars on display as they use this event as their National Meet & Concours. Also, Auto Italia invariably tempt out some rarities to park in front of the house as part of their display, (some pictures attached). I'll be there on the Friday for the Supercar run from Pall Mall, London to the circuit. I assume that's the one, the same F430 behind it, I was on my way there but a friend called to say the Ferraris ran off at the first sign of rain, the very same reason I left Silverstone lol Looked a great turnout !
Nice pics, do you have a high resolution copy of the silver F430, it's my dad's and he really likes the picture. benjy911 AT f2s.com Thanks
