    auto trans sports cars are not the oxymoron they once were. came across old Excellence article with d sullivan comparing tt auto vs 6sp on track. he was faster with auto. i prefer involvement of manual but time might prove me a dinosaur

    i have to really REALLY like the car, and get it CHEAP to get anything with an automatic. if i can drive old close ratio " rock crusher" 4 speeds in heavy traffic in the summer time, i can handle anything! autos are more consistent but i still prefer a manual. cool thread topic by the way.
