Can't wait to see the bunga-bunga option in the 599 replacement...

Luca apparently signed a letter of intent, so it's more than just a rumor.

If he can do for Italy what he did for Ferrari, then more power to him.

So success is going to be dependent on foreigners and hired guns? Oh yeah, that will go over well in Rome...

Yes... I envision a Ferrari surfboard for every man, woman and child.

This seems like a real bad idea. Italy is holding onto the cliff by its fingernails. Berlosconi saw the writing on the wall & departed.

Whoever walks in is inheriting a HUGE mess. Italian cities could look like Athens if things get worse

It been said on multiple occasions in the past that Luca always wanted to be PM, always been drewling for that position. I for one, won't be surprised. Don't have to much knowledge about Italian politics but hes been politically active for quite som time now. Best of luck to him in an eventual campaign.

If he runs Italy like Ferrari, everyone in Italy would be on an 18 month waiting list for any government services, pay 4 times what the services are really worth, and if you complain, get taken off the list. :)

A year ago, Luca was interviewed on a flagship BBC radio programme (The Today Programme, weekday mornings). He was impressive, so impressive that he left his interviewer a bit stunned -and this, mind you, on a programme where politicos of any nationality usually get challenged over and again.

I think Luca has one quality so lacking in much of Italian politics, honesty and personal integrity. He's an Italian aristocrat in the best sense of the word.
