    Great article and fair except for the $28K service. That must have been an awesome trip!

    $28k service probably involved valve guides and a full refresh of everything else while he was in there.

    Great article though. Goes to show the 355 garners more and more appreciation as it ages. :)

    The owners of both of my 355s have each been hit with >$20K bills and one did not even include valve guides. They just took the cars to the dealers and said "do what you need." I feel so bad for them.

    I agree but that even happens with fords. I bought a f150 in 06 new at 120k km had to r place cam sprockets and tensioners and oil presuure sensors to cams. Ford wanted 5500. My mechanic and i did it in 12 hoirs and 900 parts.
