    Dear List,
I found this forum while surfing
and wonder if any of you could help me out.
I have moved my machine shop home and am trying to spruce
the new shop up. I am making all the light switch and ac plug covers
myself and wonder if any of you have autocad 2D drawings of ferrari's.
I import them to my 3 axis mill and engrave the image in the aluminum
plates. My first choice would be F1 cars, but I LOVE ferrari'a of all types
and wouldn't rule anything out. If any of you have acad (or any dxf) files in
your collection I would like to see them.

    Thanks in advance,

    Randy Ray

I did a couple of them back in '91 -- a Testarossa and a Countach (both side views only) -- on version 10 or 11 (IIRC). They're both .dwg format. I'd be glad to e-mail them to you on Monday if you'd like...

I could draw some for ya, i love drawing in autoCAD. Last year in school i drew a murcielago for an assignment. It was the best drawing in that class, but thats because i've taken 4 AutoCAD classes so far. I planning a repeating some again this year. :)

MchFerrari was also in that class, he drew a F50.

Not that I know of for my domain, but I think I would zip them up,
and I can scale the drawings in my CAD system to whatever size
    I need.

Being a newbee to this forum.....
Can I attatch pics to a post on here?
The only other forum I belong to doesn't allow it
and I want to play by the rules, but I would also like
to show you the finished product to those helping me.

    Hi...
I am not sure of what you want. Is it 4-plan views of Ferraris or is it Cad-drawings of specific details of Ferraris? (if it is...how can I know exactly the measurements of the detail.)?
There are lots of 4-plan view drawings of Ferraris around....and I promise you that no-one is exact.
I´ve been drawing in AutoCad for about 5 years and I know the most of what the program can do.
    (AutoCad R-14...2000...2002...2004).
I even draw in Inventor Professional 8...in which you draw 3-D directly and then from that 3-D drawing...you will get any plan-view you want.
    Assembly-drawings.....
    Animated assembly drawings....and so on.
I have done some 4-plan view drawings of Ferraris in AutoCad...but please tell me exactly what it is you want.
    Best: Staffan.

First of all I would like to thank eric for the drawings
you sent, I just got home and haven't played with them yet
but I will, and am looking forward to it.

yes I'm looking for 4 view 2D drawings (mostly side views) of Cars, but again I
will take what ever I can get.
However if you have an Inventor 3-d drawing I would LOVE to see
that also, I just got Autocad Inventer 8 a week ago and can see that
the learning curve is going to be almost straight UP.
This old dog is really trying to learn some new tricks and would appreciate
a known GOOD file to work-learn with. That would be awsome.
Again I do not know the rules to this forum and hope I am now annoying
anyone with my posts. I know of forums that only want to stick with the
original intent of talking to owners of Ferrari's and tech stuff and I respect that. (I do own about 20 Ferrari's, they all live on a shelf in my office).
If this kind of post is annoying anyone please let me know and I will take it off line.
If anyone is intertested in seeing the switch plates I have already done
    e-mail me at:
    [email protected]
and I will upload Pictures to you via e-mail.

    Thanks again to all,

    Randy Ray
