Yeah, he says it's the only car that feels like you can drive it lap after lap without the brakes exploding. However, he says this after driving the SLS, Gallardo and R8. He had not yet driven the 458 or Mac.
If anyone caught Top Gear yesterday night Jeremy explained that you CAN turn off the traction control in the McLaren, it's just unnessicarily complicated. I wonder if Ben Collins leaving the traction control on affected the MP4's time? I wonder if McLaren insisted he complete the test with the system left on? I heard that even when you switch the system off it's not COMPLETLY off, makes me wonder if the MP4-12C is only the car it is because of all the electronic tech, and if you somehow shut it all down would it fall apart? Most of all, I wonder how the 458 and GT2 RS beat the McLaren in this test, then got pillaged in the Top Gear test I watched a few hours later?
