Speed Ventures - Track Events for Everyone! is hosting the first autocross of the year this coming weekend. If the weather is dry (semi-slick tires are not a good idea on wet streets) I will be there in my little red car under a red EZ up.

These events are open to all skill levels, they provide loaner helmets and the speeds and stresses are no more than a spirited drive through the canyons.

    Be there or be square.

The forecast calls for dry weather on Saturday so I will be there.

    Anyone else going?

You can autocross between your run groups.

I'm gonna make it to one of these these days. My son has a birthday party on Saturday though. I just ordered a new Bell (Snell approved) helmet yesterday. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a drive for me (from Santa Barbara). Have fun and don't kill too many cones. :)
