Strange thing is going on with ordered parts from autoepoca.it. I ordered and payed monday 2 pressure regulators 147281 which are advertised on his website. My mondial is my own hobby car ,but is standing in my workshop (Volkswagen concession)and one of my mechanics is working on it. I asked yesterday if my money already arrived and when it will be send, his answer "no today". Today i asked him again the same question ,his answer " the money is not arrived yet and why the hurry". i answered , because the car is in my workshop and i want to finish it. His answer " then i will not send it" then no more reaction. What is this????? Anyone had experience with this company?
    Ame i scammed?

Sergio, the owner of autoepoca.it, has problems with the English language. That would explain the misunderstanding ! Be patient, payments takes some time....

I have bought parts from them. It was a real company at that time. Their communication was spotty but the parts did arrive eventually in good order. Payments within the EU generally arrive within 2 working days.

Thanks, have to be patient i hope :) . The odd thing is that i send my emails in Italian, even on that i get a strange reply in English .
Got another mail this morning (indeed in spotty information) that he has just one in stock. He never spoke about that when i ordered it. From what i understand, the other one arrives in 6 days....
Very strange because these items are very hard to find. I should expect it was OEM he has in his warehouse.
He proposed 2 other ones (the ones with the barb connection)which are in stock. off course i replied that those were not the right ones for me.
    Curious what will follow.

These websites ask first that you apply an inquiry. Means, that they do not have parts in stock and have to obtain them somewhere else first.
That is why the delay...in answers and information. Pictures on website often are captured from other websites and mostly do not match with parts in stock.

Have ordered a couple of times, they are legit and a good source of parts.....but they are not the types to stock anything....they are finders of rare parts. And they know a great deal about interchangeable parts with other brands, that has been very valuable to me.

If you need something fast that you can get from others, do that. If you need rare parts, you have to be patient. If Christian is still there, his English is decent.

    Hi,

Usually you could find the same regulator with the part number PR298 at Rockauto.com but they are out of stock at the moment

So little update, i send the wrong ones back. They promised me to send me the right ones.
Guess what arrived today. Again the same and the wrong ones :(.
Also they are not 3.8 bar like mentioned on their page and what i payed for. The regulators has stamped Voltex 2401.1041 and are on ebay for 95Euro....
    I payed 298 euro a piece ...... but for 3.8 bar ones.
Again they gone send me other ones, to be continued.

I was thinking of changing the fuel return lines to fit the regulators with the barb, but these fuel lines are no longer available...
Would it also make a big difference 3.0 ones in stead of 3.8 bar regulators?

So the end of the saga. No regulators, but............they send my money back.
I bought instead aftermarked regulators. Housing who takes a Bosch 4.0 bar regulator.
And the right M14 and M16 fittings.

I had a very bad experiance with Autoepoca.it Sergio and also Ramon. I have the feeling they have nothing in stock themselves, but list for others. I ordered an expensive F355 part with them. The part that i received, some months later, was a broken 348 part that was made to look like an F355 part. They promised me to return the payment, but now, some 8 months later, nothing has been received (no returned payment, no good part) and also they do not reply to mail anymore.
My 1st and also the last purchase at Autoepoca.it !
    regards, Marcel
