So.... went thru the "touchless" automatic car wash yesterday with my new to me 2002 456M GT. The owner assured me it would be no problem and he was right. Anyone else use these?

Never. I don't trust the harsh chemicals they use in any car wash, touchless or not. I also don't like if they dry the vehicle-the rags they use are used on every car that goes through/get dropped on the ground/etc and can install marring/swirls/scratches onto your finish.

I would not advise it. Hand wash only.

In Europe, where the detailer business is not so developed, people just wash their exotics through automatic car wash (touch less or not) or themselves through high pressure bays.

Cars don't shine as much as in the US, they have more micro scratches, but the cars are very fine overall, just like any other car.
