has anyone out there had dealings or bought parts from sergio castellani at autoricambi d epoca, i ask this because i am about to deposit a large amount of money into there bank account for a part they advertized for my mondial 8, however my dealings with him to this point have been [ for the lack of a better phrase ] rather unprofessional, feedback and reviews about them would be appreciated.
    thanks

I don't think that I've ever heard of them. Are they the only ones who have what you need? Otherwise, is it worth paying a little more and get some piece of mind as well?

I never heard of them - I would recommend against it - there are many escrow services out there that you should use to give you peace of mind.

I have had some dealings with them in the past. Feel free to call me if you would like to discuss further.

hi daniel, they advertized a speedo sensor #11987 for my mondial 8 at 129 euros , i have been communicating with him on a daily basis via e mail for the past 2 weeks to get an official quote including poastage to me here in south africa. i got bank details only , no quote to date and now he says the price is now 165 euros, i realy want to get my speedo working again but i am reluctant to do buisness with this guy

I know someone who ordered there. They are a reliable company for Ferrari parts. (but always ask for sending with signature "signed for" since you are dealing with Italian post)

165 euro is a very nice price. I got a new speedo sensor for 220 euro. (assuming it is the one you fixed earlier) :)

Hi I apologize if I sullied the reputation of "Sergio Castellani" - I thought you were about to buy a car (not a part) and transfer funds - hence my original response - sounds like others have had good dealings with them - so excuse my original skepticism.

    Cheers
