Other than Continental ExtremeContact Sports, I can't seem to find any other brands to fit stock 17in rims. Are those the only ones currently being made in the US??

Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 are still available in the correct sizes for the original 17" wheels. Then you can keep it out and drive it in winter.....smh...

I believe Bridgestone makes a tire that fits as well.

TireRack's online fitment listed them some time ago. I just rechecked this morning and now they only list the Continentals in the 17" size. Everything else is listed for 18" wheels. My car has the AS/3s mounted on the 17" OEM wheels and I am putting some Pilot Sports on my 18" HREs. Wasn't aware the AS/3s were getting hard to find.

David, now would be a great time to upgrade your wheels to 18" 550 wheels :)

Why not the Contis? I love mine on stock wheels. Smooth, quiet and good grip. Perfect for a 2+2 GT.

    John,
I thought about going with 18" modulars, but just can't square the price.
Not sure about straight 550 wheels, I'd have to see them in person first.

    That's what I have now. They're OK.
Was just hoping to have a choice greater than 1....

There's a few 456 owners on here who have them (the stock 550 wheels) and they look awesome. Ask for some pics

Just put the Contis on my original rims this year. No problems whatsoever--nice ride, quiet and good grip. When I went tire shopping, Tire Rack didn't list anything other than those, at least at the time.
