Anyone know what the average selling price for a Daytona coupe is today?

Assumung that it is a complete "no stories" car in a good color with no immedate needs, I would say US $350-$380K. Great 365 GTB/4s can be $400+

My guess, and that is all it is, would be mid 300's for a good honest car.

I agree with the above. A really great car might be $400K plus, nice car $350K, with a dog in the high $200Ks to $300K.

That said, as with any deal, a particular seller and buyer might stray from the above,

    Just my $0.02

    Mediocre that needs work 250-300
    average to good driver 300-325
    good to regional silver 350
    gold 375
    platinum 400+
    the best 450-500

the 2500 mile one owner did not sell at Maranello, but Symbolic owns it from the estate for 425k ...all original, but lacked energy and excitement according to those who have seen it. FML has one advertized at 600+, but that seems totally unrealistic - now!

I would take it to mean that the car fails to elicit much emotion from the onlooker. Could be color, lack of luster in the paint, old, faded leather and carpet, etc-- like you would expect from a car that old that has had nothing renewed. Great as a source of info for what is "correct," but not very enjoyable to look at.

+1 on the prices and the RM Maranello Daytona - it has needs.....

Bearing in mind the prices the Lusso and 275GTB/4 made at RM Maranello...who's to say. There are people in/new to the market who want the very best and are prepared to pay a huge premium to own it

If only you could do more events with the road Daytona, it would be a $1m car.
