What is your take on the Aventador?
It’s a very flashy Audi Murci LP640 or SV, LP 4000 Countach, and of course Muira (the GOAT) are the only choices in my mind. Yes, skip the Diablo.
Yes Jedi, was hoping to get feedback from fellow FF owners that might either own one or had one as we share the passion for the FF.
As an F12 owner: I've posted here a few places about my 'meet your heroes' disappointment of an Aventador S test drive last summer. Looks and sound were 10/10 but the rest of the experience was a real let down, led by the awful gearbox and slow pedal response (sales guy admitted it probably needed a fresh clutch). The guys at Royalty Exotic Rentals say the SVJ is their favorite car, even better than their Veyron, Koenigsegg and Huayra, and their pair have been actually quite reliable.
You just didn't put that in the original post - that wasn't obvious so.... there ya go Carry on They're ALL cool cars IMO - as others have said the Aventador is just .... huge. Jedi
The Aventador is just insane, man! The tech and power it packs are impressive. And I gotta say, the design is on point – love the precision they've put into it.
I wouldn’t turn it down but there are so many other things I’d rather buy for high 200s low 300s. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I owned an SV Coupe then Roadster (ordered at the same time). Great looks and sound but pretty lousy to drive - due mostly to the gearbox. The Aventador is a very old platform by now and feels it.
360 spider 6pd (already own one ) FF 430 scud I am getting close to pulling the trigger on the FF. I found one that is perfect, just need to get the timing right with house remodel and a big investment opportunity. I could probably do it now, but I like having an irrational amount of dry powder. The FF ptu scares me a bit but I found a cpo one for a reasonable price.
FF and gated 360 is a good combo. But I must say I don’t miss the 360 as much with just the FF now. Image Unavailable, Please Login
good to know. I think I will have to keep both, but glad to hear that if I had to keep the ff only, it wouldn't be so bad.
I do not know ... I love my Aventador S Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login !!! I had a 2014 FF that I drove for 9000 miles then sold, wish I could have kept it, but ran out of garage space, so vs the Aventador S, the FF had to go. Love both cars, but very different driving and ownership experiences.
