Did someone mention to respect the elderly??? . Mel, I will make sure everyone here are nice to you by reminding them you are the oldest
It seems to me......that the 512tr.....is the perfect car for the "mid life crisis!" Pretty tight cluster around 40.
70 years of age, and loving the T/R more every year, had it for 7 years now, along with a 456 M and a Aston Martin DB-7 , mixed in with several others. Life is good!
Should have had mine by, engine service and clutch taking longer than expected. I'm now 43. Birthday is this week so hopefully will have buy the end of next week. 85 Flying Mirror. So I would say 44. Bought the Road and Track article off e bay the other day I remember reading in 85. Crazy..
I bought mine last year at age of 33. my first Ferrari at 29 I had a 308 GTS QV-85 euro, 456 GT-94 and Testarossa -91 Pascal the Netherlands
I have often wondered about the age thing. I have to be one of the youngest. I bought mine at 29 years old last summer. I had dreamed of owning it for 23 years, since I was 6. All of my friends were puzzled as to why I didn't get a 360, f430, etc. I told them that if they like those cars then THEY should by them. I adore my Testarossa and I enjoy it more than I could have ever imagined. And believe me I imagined it to the max over those 23 years. Grabbed a 550 maranello this winter. Its beautiful, but it cannot deliver what my 1990 Testarossa delivers. Edge of your seat theater, looks to die for. Even my mechanics wife was kind of surprised the first time I brought it in for service. "You're quite a young guy for the Testarossa." LOL
I bought mine when I was 44, just 2 months prior to my 45th birthday. There was a club drive to a cool winery that fell exactly on my birthday. It was the best birthday EVER! Coming up on 2 years of ownership. Coming up on 10,000 miles since I bought it. No problems.
I bought my BB512i for my 30th birthday. I had it for 12 years now, and plan to keep it for a little longer... (till the price is so crazy I have to let go of her)
