    If I had to do life again.... It would have to be as a fighter pilot. Love how straight forward and raw the F-16's are compared to some of the newer flying computers.

    I may have asked this before...

    That F-16 engraving is nice but do you do these without the nonsense text and lines pointing to various parts of the plane? Those take away from the beauty of the jet. Length, height, and WS only would be attractive. And can I pick the tail and squadron graphics?

    Bob I would have to agree with your's as being clean. If I had to choose between hand drawn VS computer generated I pick hand drawn any day :)

    I guess that I'm careless for not putting some kind of copyright mark across the face of the picture. It is really upsetting to see people taking close up photos of your artwork at art shows when you're trying to sell prints. Cell phones and outright cameras should be banned from art displays.

    Bob I hate to say it but people do not respect copyrights and the work of others. They think that if it is on the internet or in a gallery it is in the public domain. This is one reason I stopped posting my photography work on the net even with watermarks and embedded copyright notices including phone number they will still try and take the photo and run with it. 3 weeks ago I got a phone call from a photo lab where someone wanted to print a photo I had posted on jetphotos.net to a 20 x 30 poster. The lab saw the copyright info in the EXIF info and made the call. I told the lab that they did not have my permission to use it and not to print it.

    We sure do, obviously, cleaner is much easier for us to do!

    Thank you for the input and good to know! Guess we will have to play with some cleaner designs.

    Ours make look computer generated, but to get all the details they actually have to be drawn all out by hand... This is done on a digital tablet though vs on paper.

    Surprisingly we don't have too many issues with this even with the vector artwork. We get tons of requests for the files, but obviously, keep them close breasted. I'm sure as time goes on we will run into more and more though.

    Been playing with it a bit, and for blueprint style art I don't think it looks good at all.... I'll admit though that I need to figure out a way to make the current aviation stuff flow a little better. Thoughts?

    Think you went just a little too far. Keep the blueprint layout, keep the General Dynamics and boxes at the bottom.

    You didn't respond about choosing the squadron?

    Oh yeah, easy day to change up the tail flash and squadron info. We do a ton of these as PCS and retirement gifts so allow for this type customization.

    Kit, I had no intention of demeaning or criticizing your art. It's very nice and well worth hanging in an office or anywhere else. In the past I have done many of these in pencil or ink. I think we're talking apples and oranges when comparing a painted profile with an engraved line drawing. Both have their place.

    Bit of new format, I'm thinking a little more text but not much. Customer liked this one as is. What do you guys think? Working on an A-1 Skyraider at the moment as well.

    Fun to finally do the "Spad", my dad had talked about the awesome CAS these things provided in Vietnam. I'd prefer 8000 lbs of prop driven anger vs the limited munitions you get from drones these days.

    Part of Heinemann's weight-saving program... saved a lot of weight by hanging stuff than having an internal bay.
    Since top speed wasn't part of the mission, it worked great.

    For a while Ed designed darned near everything from Douglas, it seemed like.

    They were equally as valuable in Korea as they were in 'nam.
