We start the 2007 year with a new exciting release:

For those of you that own or like the Ferrari F50, you probably know about the exciting F50 GT. This supercar was designed by Michelotti to compete in the BPR Global GT Endurance Series. However, the F50 race program was halted and just 3 cars were built, making the F50 GT one of the rarest modern Ferraris.

This large 1/12 scale (15" long) hand made resin and metal model is completely scratchbuilt. It is not derived from the Tamiya F50 metal kit! A very small edition of just 50 of these have been made in red. As with most low production handbuilt models, it is 'curbside' so there are no opening parts. However, the interior can be seen through the windows, the tires are rubber and roll, and the wheels are aluminum. The paint is hand rubber lacquer and is free of orange peel.

Below are some photos of the very first model built BEFORE the glass was installed. Please note these photos are low resolution but I assure you the paint and exterior details are fantastic. You can even see the cross drilled rotors and Brembo brake calipers.

These models are available through our gallery. Email for the price and more pix at [email protected]

As usual, other new goodies can be seen at http://www.collectorstudio.com/new.htm
