First thing is to congratulate Rik for an awesome looking Ferrari in the first photo - the black wheels are absolutely perfect, hope they stay like that.

Starting with the current test about to take place at Paul Ricard thru the test last year - awesome photos (2007 starts at #384, I didn't go beyond 2008). I started to write down photos numbers of our buddy Rik (beginning with photo #15) but my piece of paper wasn't big enough. Number 145 is a fantastic photo of Antonio; Rik looking happy on podium with Antonio and Tomas at the Nurburgring #110; #185,201,209,243, 268 are fantastic photos of the awesome #59...beautiful car. One of the most beautiful coupes is #322 the Epsilon Euskadi. A truly wicked photo is #335 the Lola/Aston Martin is black with only "powered by Aston Martin" on the car. #80 and #81 are of the Pug Hybrid at Silverstone.

    Check them out at http://www.lemans-series.com/en/s10_mediatheque/s10p01_mediatheque.php

Just a suggestion, have beer and popcorn handy before you start thru the photos! This is better than anything on the satellite tonight.

    Enjoy ! ! !

    Carol

Almost forgot one....#156, the Virgo 430 has a bit of flame from the rear.

You're quite welcome - after going thru the photos and also because of Rik's involvement, it just made sense to post here to share with you guys. Some of the photography is absolutely stunning.

Such a great series is for sure and this season is doubly so! You going to any of the LMS races?

    Have a great day.

That would be cool. Perhaps you can get me in at Team Modena to say hi to Rik and get an autograph of Nigel Mansell for my mom (no really, she is a big fan) ;)

I think it is awesome you travel litteraly around the globe to support these guys and gals of LMS and other endurance racing series.

You guys are more than welcome.

You got beer, huh? need special ones for viewing the various event photos......Boddingtons for Silverstone, Moretti perhaps for Monza, 1664 for LeMans, Estrella for Barcelona...your suggestion for Spa? (we're bad!!)

Congrats Rik on third in GT2 for your first adventure with the 430....may you keep on climbing! The 007 Aston sure took a big hit, glad Tomas is ok...sounding like the monocoque is history.

    Carol

Say Rik, how about a few visitors at Spa?!?!?!

    Leffe beer for Spa!

Carol, just let me know how many you are going to be at Spa and I shall sort something out for you - could put together hospitality, etc. Just PM me!

As for third, well we wouldn't want to appear too fast first time out, would we now.......??

We know what pace we're at from our own testing............

Tomas was a bit upset about his crash. But at least AMR have a great relationship with Lola for repairing the tub........!!!

    Nice pic.

Considered cropping tighter on the car?

Either way you've caught the car looking great.

    Hi Rik
Apologies if you've been asked this one already - but why the switch from the Aston to the Ferrari?

    Good question!

Firstly, GT1 in its current form only has one more year to go, so the DBR9 will be obsolete at the end of this year.

Secondly, the GT1 grids are now very small and it is therefore difficult to justify the expense to maintain a highly-competitive GT1 car.

Thirdly, I am a Ferrari man in my heart, and so have always wanted to race a competitive Ferrari!

And finally, Antonio Garcia was bored with the DBR9, having driven it for 3 years, so we decided to get him a new toy to master!!
