On the 101 today in scottsdale saw a red elise and a yellow 997 turbo. Then around the scottsdale mall today i saw.... - Lorinser S class - Silver Flying spur - Black Continental GT with black rims and really loud exhausts! - A dark red bentley GTC - Black Gallardo coupe - Black Arnage - yellow gallardo spyder - Red 360 with chrome rims - Grey Quattroporte - An all yellow Ariel Atom! - yellow 360 spider Not bad for a weekday, i was only there around an hour. Ill edit and post some pics.
Red 348 Spyder at Chandler Mall - 1:00pm today. Red 360 Spyder at Kierland Commons - 7:30pm today. Not bad for not looking and only being here for less than 24 hours.
Unfortunately no. I'm flying to San Diego on Friday morning. I haven't been able to make a C&C event yet. I'm more of a night prowler, but everytime I am here for a C&C, I end up leaving that day.
Saw a silver 430 on the 101 headed North today. Also saw a candy apple red Gallardo, though that's not very exciting Are they putting the light rail down the middle of the 101 or something? WTF.
Adding the carpool lane which should have been integral to the initial construction 6 years ago, yet will now slow traffic on 101 for many months and shut down the 101 often on weekends.
brilliant!.. BTW, this is kinda relative to the thread HOW TO DRIVE IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA. 1. "Phoenix" actually consists of Scottsdale, Chandler,Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Glendale, Sun City and half of the Mexican border. 2. The morning rush hour is from 5:00am to noon. The evening rush hour is from noon to 9:00pm. Friday's rush hour starts on Thursday morning. 3. The minimum acceptable speed on most freeways is 85 mph. On Loop 101, your speed is expected to match the highway number. Anything less is considered "Wussy". 4. Forget the traffic rules you learned elsewhere. Phoenix has its own version of traffic rules. For example,cars/trucks with the loudest muffler go first at a four-way stop; the trucks with the biggest tires go second. However, East Valley, SUV-driving, cell phone-talking moms ALWAYS have the right of way. 5. If you actually stop at a yellow light, you will be rear ended. 6. Never honk at anyone. Ever. Seriously. It's an offense that can get you shot. 7. Road construction is permanent in Phoenix. Detour barrels are moved around for your entertainment pleasure during the middle of the night to make the next day's driving a bit more exciting. 8. Watch carefully for road hazards such as drunks, dogs, barrels, cones, cats, mattresses, shredded tires, rabbits, vultures, javelinas, roadrunners, and the coyotes feeding on any of these items. 9. Maricopa Freeway, Papago Freeway and the "I-10" are the same road. SR202 is the same road as The Red Mountain FWY. Dunlap and Olive are the same street too. Jefferson becomes Washington, but they are not the same street. I-17 is also called The Black Canyon Freeway as well as The Veterans Memorial Highway. The SR 51 has recently been renamed to Piestewa Freeway because Squaw Peak Parkway was too easy to pronounce. SR 101 is also the Pima FWY except west of I-17, which is also The Black Canyon FWY, and The Veterans Memorial HWY. Lastly, Thunderbird Rd. becomes Cactus Rd. but, Cactus Rd. doesn't become Thunderbird Rd. because it dead ends at a mountain. 10. If someone actually has their turn signal on, wave them to the shoulder immediately to let them know it has been "accidentally activated." 11. If you are in the left lane and only driving 70 in a 55-65 mph zone, you are considered a road hazard and will be "flipped off" accordingly. If you return the flip, you'll be shot. 12. For summer driving, it is advisable to wear potholders on your hands.
Nice! You forgot #13: Bell Rd. is Bell Rd. until you cross Scottsdale Rd. in Scottsdale, then it becomes Frank Lloyd Wright, and then one mile North is another Bell Rd...The two Bell Roads never connect with each other.
