That IS a B-24J. The box that the B-17 came in. The Whistling Outhouse. Flying Bannana Boat. " Oh that B-24, Oh that ground-lovin' whore....."
The B-25 has two engines, built by North American. The B-24 was built by Consolidated, 4 Pratt & Whitney R1830's. Twenty thousand built.

The B-24 could carry a bigger bomb load than the B-17 right?

Yes, the B-24 could carry a bigger bomb load than the B-17 farther and faster but it couldn't reach an altitude much above 26,000 with a full load. The B-17 could go up to 31 or 32 thousand. It had a service ceiling of 41000 feet.
Both of them were mechanized refrigerators.
