Good news the pilot survived. https://lasvegassun.com/news/2017/jul/24/small-plane-crashes-near-henderson-airport/
These guys are next door to me at HND. I heard that they recently got a "big" military contract. They have a small hangar with three planes being worked on all the time. Probably 8 or 9 mechanics going 12 hours day. I saw this plane being fueled on Thursday and shortly after they were running it. I'm new to aviation and when my pilot told me these guys just got a military contract I couldn't figure out what they were doing with these old planes. I can't believe the military is still utilizing planes of this vintage. Perhaps we should start properly funding the military? Thank god the pilot survived.
Funny, we just did a thread on the Strikemaster version of the Provost. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/aviatorchat-com/555246-who-can-identify-aircraft.html
