    Did the pilot eject? I couldn't find out. Lucky no one on the ground was hurt also.

    These guys are next door to me at HND. I heard that they recently got a "big" military contract.

    They have a small hangar with three planes being worked on all the time. Probably 8 or 9 mechanics going 12 hours day.

    I saw this plane being fueled on Thursday and shortly after they were running it.

    I'm new to aviation and when my pilot told me these guys just got a military contract I couldn't figure out what they were doing with these old planes.

    I can't believe the military is still utilizing planes of this vintage.

    Perhaps we should start properly funding the military?

    Thank god the pilot survived.

    The RJ story said it was on its wat to Washington State for an Airforce exercise.
