Very nice - Many business trips to Geneva over the years, but nothing like that first pic. Next time you're at Starbucks you'll have to tell us " the rest of the story"

You are officially a legend. Not surprised you are da man for that first pic.

Plus you are the team that looks like it finally resolved the satnav issue for Fcars - hooray. Will this also be available in the 599? I'd hate to get my 599 and miss this by a few months!

That's totally awesome - read about the system, can't believe Ferrari actually stepped up to the plate with Bose. Nice pics too. Also cannot believe that you guys chopped the top off of a 612!!!

Man, you have one of the best jobs in the world. Congrats!

    vty,

Can't argue with you on any of the points you made! The chopped-top 612 is pretty unique- it's more of an interior "buck" including all of the interior trim, but no engine or trunk, and with all the pillars and windows chopped off and finished about a foot above the top edge of the doors. It sits in the booth sunk into a 3-foot hole in the floor, giving you the illusion that you're looking down into it from maybe 6 or 7 feet in the air. You should have seen the booth construction guys trying to get that car into the pit- ended up needing a rigger's crane to accomplish the task.

(That same crew let me help roll Massa's F1 car onto the stage the day before- more perks!)

Can't wait to come to Starbucks and swap stories once it gets warm out. And Dan, can't comment on upcoming releases but I would say that any spot on the 599 allocation list is worth keeping regardless of whether it has the Bose Media System. This is why I was so curious as to whether you were buying a 612!
