    Yes we were Bow. And thats were we sat in Monaco during the other heats. At least the sounds are there on the monaco footage. Been trying to see if any of the other clips have our cars in them, possibly Imola 71?

    Yes Peter, those things had such amazing slipstreaming battles all over europe. Thruxton is/was a very fast track and provided some great F3 and F2 races back when the F1 drivers would jump in other formulae. You can see that lead group come around in a different formation each lap, the two Gold Leaf team cars were Bev Bond (smashes his nose, not uncommon for Bev!)and eventual winner Walker. 1Litre pushrod, single choke carb, power band 6500-10500, about 100-105 bhp, torque-somewhere....!.
    Also see the Anglia get onto two wheels after John Mc passed Williamson.
