Wow.... so pretty!! I just bought an f430 about a month ago, my first Ferrari. Only took me 35 years of adulthood to be able to afford it I love it. However, after seeing all these pictures of the 458, I’m thinking in a year or two, I will definitely need to upgrade

You won't regret either car, they are both great in different ways but with the common ability to induce a big grin while driving them

What is your experience with the new r8 vs 458, driving dynamics, long distance comfort etc?

The new R8 is a great car. I’ve owned 3 of them, with the first 2 being a V8 and V10 gated and the 3rd a 2017 w paddles. I would say it’s a refined sports car, a good daily driver that kind of flies under the radar if you will. The 458 is another level, it’s an animal. Just pure visceral driving fun if you’re so inclined or a daily cruiser if driven in auto mode (not done too often personally:). Both are wonderful cars and a privilege to own.

Love the r8.... but.... it just does not have remotely the same eyeball appeal

Graz If you don’t mind me asking, and pls PM me if you do, what year is the 458? And what rough price did you pay? Just trying to get a sense of the market.

Where in FL do you stay when you come? I’m in Wellington Looking to join a local Ferrari chapter (if there is one)

    Thx!
