I have time to deal with the 360 again. What I know--the left side has no spark or fuel. LS fuel pump works. I know we went through this before but what is the protocol for the ECU's? Which ECU controls the LS and is the RS signal to the LS to work? Can anyone identify the wire in the loom that connects the 2 ECU's. Remember I had a small fire near the RS ECU, but not even hot enough to touch the paint on the fender.

    De ja vu...

What evidence do you have that the left bank has no spark or fuel (injection)? Is the exhaust manifold on the left side colder than the right side?

If you blocked the MAF located on the right hand side of the engine and the engine stopped, that meant that the left bank only was working.

    Look at the yellow path...

By design, air from the MAF on the left side of the engine cannot feed the LH bank (cyl. 5~8) at idle or low rpms. Only the longer airflow path is used at idle and low rpms.

Each ECU controls its same side bank. e.g. the LH ECU provides spark and fuel to cylinders 5~8 on the left side of the engine. It controls the motorised throttle on the right hand side of the engine.
