Is a nice machine, but it is neither a SS or a Challenge car now. Since imitation is the highest form of flattery, I am copying some of the interior stuff they did. I like everything they did except the intake pipes. These just look out of place like they were taken from a slammed Honda.
I don't like the intake on the stock 348, but these seem worse. Looks like you would get turbulence plus hot engine air. If anything, that should be an inline system of some sort.
i dont get what this wants to be. targa with stock susp and rubber for street. cage and seats for track. might be less than optimal for either. looks nice though
That is what I was judging it on. Just the cruise around town factor---would def. turn heads -looks alone I really like it..
Isn't this the third thread on this car? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132001 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131933
i'm surprised it has 38 bids hovering very close to the $63k asking price i'm surprised it has any bids car is goofy looking (looks like my gardeners Civic with that PepBoys wing on it) and all those stickers aweful looking you gotta figure, if someone wanted to make a 348 into a really nice handling race type car, the FIRST thing they'd do is get rid of those heavy crappy OEM wheels the car is all look and no go
Personallt, I love the look. Its a 348SS is it not ? number 50 of 100....if the service is upto date with ownership...i think its a great looking car. Wing and decals and all.
I would agree. Maybe except the wing! But most of challenge kit installed. That stuff is expensive. Sold about where I would expect if truely as described with miles and no race time.
Yes, with all that prior interest one would think someone would have bought or black-balled it by now.
Actually, the first round of the Challenge series for the 348 modded to Challenge specs ran the standard crappy wheels. The Challenge rims only came later... but have to agree with you, I'd ditch them for the speedline challenge rims at the very least.... even though they are darn heavy as well by comparison to todays 3 piece magnesiums...
The '94 series did use stock rims. '93 even in the Euro series. The 18in. speedlines were inroduced with the 355 CH and also used in the 348 starting in '95. The 348 never had a rear wing. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
