Greetings all, Just a lurker at the moment, but have strong plans of buying my first F-car in the future. Currently doing a lot of reading and oohing others purchases at the moment but had a quick question. Like some models, there usually a bad year or two to avoid because of high failure items or issues, is that the case with the 458? Thanks in advance
I think there were some transmission issues with 2010 and 2011 models. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong . Other than that there have been a very few reports of issues with the 458
Correct on that ! Do you have a (poper) name Big Chief ? And as of 2012 you may benefit of (max) 7 yrs of free maintenance ...
I have yet to learn of a more problematic 458 than another, based only on year of manufacture. Simply put: pre-2012 you get an unmistakable and unforgettable exhaust sound. Post-2012 you get the 7 year free maintenance programme. Kind regards, Nuno.
